The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9, is soliciting grant and cooperative agreement initial proposals for projects in the California/Baja California and Arizona/Sonora Regional Workgroup regions that address the objectives of the U.S.-Mexico Border 2012 Program. CDC launches website to help officials redistribute flu vaccine

In an effort to help local and state health officials across the country redistribute flu vaccine to the “neediest” areas, the CDC recently launched a website that helps officials determine where vaccine supplies are “abundant and where they are scarce,” the New York Times reports. Canadian Internet pharmacies market to Latino communities

As Canadian Internet pharmacies continue to market to American consumers in search of cheaper prescription drugs, many of the companies “are setting their sights on minority populations,” particularly Latino communities, the Boston Globe reports.
