General Information:

Viagra is an oral pill of the signature blue color and diamond shape which is administered in men with sexual (or erectile) dysfunction. The drug was first introduced to the pharmaceutical world in 1997, and ever since then it never left the shelves of drugstores, its popularity growing by year. The positive buzz that the pill has created is reflected in the fact that Viagra could not be ousted by its longer-acting analog, Cialis.

Generic Viagra: Drug Information

Overview

One pill of Viagra, regardless of sildenafil dose contained therein, is capable of restoring sexual function for a period of 4 hours (although this time varies based on individual response of the patient, fasted vs. full stomach mode of intake and other numerous circumstances). The medication is taken as needed, that is in anticipation of sexual activity. Keep in mind that it takes sildenafil ca 60 minutes to get absorbed into the blood stream.

How To Use

Viagra is taken prior to sexual intercourse, at least 60 minutes in advance. A pill of Viagra is taken with a sufficient amount of water (ca 1 glass). While it is best to take the drug in a fasted state (that is, at least 4 hours after the last meal) or after a light meal, Viagra will still act when taken on a full stomach. It should however be taken into account that taken on a full stomach or after foods high on fat content, sildenafil benefits for the sexual health of the patient will be delayed and slightly diminished.

Viagra is a prescription drug and should be used as such. Its intake should be appointed and approved by a licensed doctor of medicine. Never use two doses of Viagra on the same day. The intake of Viagra should be spaced out with the intervals equal at least 24 hours.

At Canadian Pharmacy, we reinforce that the use of any drug should be discussed with a professional healthcare provider and subject to prescription based on physical examination, symptomatic survey and, if need be, laboratory tests. It is important to rule out any possible contraindication condition, individual intolerance, allergies and interactions before proceeding with Viagra therapy.
